Ceiling Fan. Wednesday , December 13th , 2017 - 07:35:46 AM
The greatest thing about ceiling fans is that they have a double purpose, serving as both a functional piece and a decorative element for the room they're in. But, while this is all wonderful and practical, it also makes choosing a ceiling fan that much more difficult.
First of all, you need to take into consideration the size of the room so that the ceiling fan can be efficient. For a room that measures 75 square feet or less, a 30 to 36 inch fan would be perfect. The 36 to 42 inch ones are ok for rooms that measure up to 144 square feet. For even larger rooms, opt for a 50 to 54 inch fan. Another option is to get two or more fans if you think one is not enough.
One disadvantage of wanting vaulted ceilings when your house wasn't built with them is that it can be very challenging, invasive, or maybe even impossible, to retrofit them to your space. It's one of the rare architectural features that generally is best to design and integrate in the early stages of building.
